We show responsibility

The Hotel Hessischer Hof practices a policy of Corporate Social Responsibility as a means of coping with the responsibility of sustainable economic activities.  Acting in a way that displays ecological and social responsibility to us means securing the innovative strength and future excellence of our business. In this approach the different aspects of sustainability are based upon three pillars: economy, society and environment. Our objective is to continually improve the the hotel's ecological balance sheet as well as promote the level of social commitment. A necessary precondition for social commitment though, is economic success as it is enabling organisations to make the adequate contributions towards solving certain social conflicts.

Sustainable materials management

We are convinced that the protection and preservation of our shared environment is a prerequisite for our future. By means of environmental protection measures such as energy and water savings, reduction of CO2 emissions, recycling, utilisation of green technologies and eco-friendly raw materials as well as avoidance of all such products that are harmful to the environment we are actively contributing to the goal of sustainble materials management on a daily basis. Applying a step-by-step approach we strive for continuous improvement and we frequently monitor our ecological achievements.

Corporate citizenship

Corporate citizenship is one of our company's principles. With great committment we have been supporting the World Childhood Foundation since it was founded by Queen Silvia of Sweden ten years ago. The foundation's objective is to help, support and encourage children around the world who are being exploited or abused. This goal is achieved through a network of independent foundations enabling us at the present time to support a total of 100 projects in 15 different countries.

We are convinced that children are our future and that every child has got the right to a happy and carefree childhood.
